Designed for rugged and remote environments, the Tako smart devices connect your assets to the cloud, are easy to install, and will support hundreds of different kinds of sensors.

Each Tako edge device supports up to seven sensors simultaneously, can transmit via WiFi or LTE, and can be powered by an external power source or asset integration.

  • Tako sensor recommendation program:

    • Tako maintains a running list of sensors that we have tested and that meet quality field use standards. For a list of tested sensors or if you have sensors that you would like tested, please contact us.

  • Configurable with most non 4-20mA industrial sensors (ex: 0-10V, 0-5V, Digital) using a signal conditioner. Contact us for details on your specific sensor requirements.

Otto Security

  • Programmed with a 32-bit ID and 128-bit authentication key at manufacturing time

  • Secure bootloader to prevent tampered firmware from running

  • End-to-end 128-bit encryption on all device-to-device cloud data transmissions
